The night before the MRI...

...and you're wasting time. Scads of it. Working late, then coming home. Flooding your eyeballs in safe situation comedy. Finally, you shut it off. Alone, on the bed, you realize that your head feels like a cold mess of cornstarch and water. You've been so divorced from open, clear emotion for what - a year now? It's not depression, and it's more than exhaustion. You lack sensation.
Please, you whisper to no one in particular, show me how to repair this man.
